I cooked a grilled asparagus risotto tonight but unfortunately it lacked the flavor I was hoping for it to achieve. So instead of giving you a mediocre recipe to try, I will have to pass for tonight and hope that tomorrow will be a more successful cooking experience.

Dinner was a disaster because the beef was not cooked slowly (as planned) but we started it too late so it was really tough. The roasted potatoes were great except that when I placed the hot Pyrex baking pan in the sink with running water, it exploded into a billion shards of glass. Lastly, when Dean and I were trying to tint icing for our Easter cakes, we used way too much blue food coloring which turned the cake icing black.
What can I say? It is one of those nights where you throw up your hands and say, “I think it’s time to see what’s on T.V.” On that note, we are all done for the evening and hope for an easier day tomorrow.
